16: Being Fearless with Money featuring Chelsea Brennan of Smart Money Mamas

In this episode we cover a lot of ground. We talk about how it’s important to be encouraging and not have fear around money. She talks about how ‘a little bit better than yesterday’ is better than great one day and ten steps back the next. She shares with us about how financial abuse is the most common form of domestic abuse and how to be aware so this doesn’t happen to you. Self worth does not equal net worth. Always remember you are worthy. We discuss ways to help your kids learn about money at different ages and ways to help them manage their money. She told us about the Loved App which is an investment app for the under 18 age group. She shared the quote from Bari Tessler, “Underearning can be about underselling, under-expressing, under-loving. Over-giving, under-receiving. Under-no-ing, over-yes-ing.” - Bari Tessler
