Episode 16: Being Fearless with Money featuring Chelsea Brennan

In this episode we learn all about being fearless with money from Chelsea Brennan of Smart Money Mamas. We cover a lot of ground. We talk about how it’s important to be encouraging and not have fear around money.

Chelsea talks about how ‘a little bit better than yesterday’ is better than great one day and ten steps back the next.

Chelsea shares with us about how financial abuse is the most common form of domestic abuse. Also, how to be aware so this doesn’t happen to you. Self worth does not equal net worth. Always remember you are worthy.

We also discuss ways to help your kids learn about money at different ages and ways to help them manage their money. She told us about the Loved App. It’s an investment app for the under 18 age group.

Chelsea shared this quote from Bari Tessler, “Underearning can be about underselling, under-expressing, under-loving. Over-giving, under-receiving. Under-no-ing, over-yes-ing.” She is great at encouraging everyone to be even more fearless with money.
